Upper Cut Tree Service, LLC is a Michigan-based company established in 2018 that is owned by Jonah Zenas out of Williamston, MI. Jonah started working in the forestry industry at the age of 14, working for a local tree company. After working for a couple of different tree services, contract climbing, and working for a sawmill and logging company, he started Upper Cut Tree Service.

In the short time since its inception, Upper Cut Tree Service has grown into a very well-respected and highly rated company, providing a wide range of services to many different clients—from large commercial developers, logging and sawmill companies, to residential customers throughout Michigan and surrounding states.

Here at Upper Cut Tree Service, we provide a large span of services. On the commercial side, we provide large- and small-scale land clearing, forestry mulching, R.O.W. clearing, erosion control, and access road construction. On the residential side of Upper Cut Tree Service, we specialize in large-scale, technical removals and 24-hour service and storm work.

We pride ourselves on completing a very high caliber of work that is done on time, every time, and in the safest manner possible. We achieve this by making safety our number one concern. We provide one-on-one training to all employees for their positions and provide all proper PPE necessary to complete any given task. We hold regular safety meetings prior to starting new jobs, as well as morning safety briefs to discuss possible hazards and concerns alike. This ensures that we maintain a safe, accident-free work environment for our employees and customers.
